  I love this tea room and have been coming for years, always had excellent service excellent food, however today we had to sit upstairs, which is a bit of a challenge for me. My scone was a little dry so to save me the effort of going up and down the stairs I asked a passing member of staff if I could have some jam. No problem but could I go downstairs and order it? Oh it doesn't matter i said as the stairs are a bit of a challenge for me. So there we have it this member of staff couldn't be arsed to bring me the jam and collect the extra payment. I hope she remembers this if ever she suffers from arthritis and sciatica in her later years. Enjoy the ability to run up and down those stairs as you are doing whilst I'm writing this comment, as old age creeps up on you sooner than you think. We will still visit this tea room but perhaps will not sit upstairs.
